Van Jason Hillard lives and works on Planet Earth, where he spends a ton of time writing what’s known in some social circles as “RKS” (Real Kooky Sh*t) — primarily the form of fiction, fables, poems, essays, or some mutated hybrid of all of the above. Van also drums in the cultish rock trio Park Snakes, sings and drums in post-punky duo Public Figures (AKA the Viceroys of Nice Noise), creates and curates dreamy autonomous zones like Studio Ga Ga, and is an international field investigator for MUFON (Mutual UFO Network), as well as State Section Director and Chief Investigator for the District of Columbia chapter of MUFON (mas or menos, innit?)
